OPI Swatch Spam: 4 polishes
Hi everyone, happy Saturday! Today is going to be a fun nail day for me...plenty of nail art and swatches for future blog posts. I've been gone the past few weekends so it will be nice to catch up. I did my Ice Cream Sunday post for tomorrow and I am really proud of it. Today I have another round of OPI swatch spam. OPI is my favorite mainstream brand of polish because of the range of creams (I love creams!), "pun-ny" names, and range of colors.OPI Done Out in Deco
This is one of the polishes that I had pre-blogging and it remains a favorite of mine. Done Out in Deco is a dusty cool-toned lavender polish. The formula is good, below is two easy coats with topcoat.OPI My Vampire is Buff
OPI My Vampire is Buff is one of my very favorite polishes in my entire collection. It's the first polish that I've seriously considered getting a back-up. This polish is from the newest OPI collection from this year and is a cool-toned nude polish. Now that I've had more polish practice, I can get this one streak free in two coats. Below is two coats with topcoat.OPI My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours!
Hello bright! This polish is also from the newest OPI collection from this year. This polish is a bright orange with tones of red. I wouldn't call it neon but it definitely is bright. This polish was streaky for me and I needed three coats to even it all out. Below is three coats with topcoat.OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls
Last up is another favorite of mine, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. I had heard good things about this polish from the blogging community, but could never find it because it was from a previous Spiderman collection. One day at Ulta, I just happened to find one bottle in the clearance section. I couldn't believe it, and snatched it up right away! This polish is white, but white with just a hint of grey so it's more subtle than say a stark white. Like most whites, the formula isn't perfect, but it's worth it for the color. Below is three coats with topcoat.Do you own any of these colors? Also just because I'm curious, what is your favorite mainstream polish brand?
