Hi everyone, one day closer to the weekend! Welcome to Thursday and I hope everyone is having a great day. Today I have a new-to-me indie brand called Lynx Lacquer. I was kindly sent three different polishes to swatch and review. I will be describing each polish as I go. I just want to first point out how cute their logo and labels are, I love them!Lynx Lacquer: I've Just Met You and I Love You
First up is a jelly polish from the Up Up Up Collection inspired by the movie Up. If you haven't seen the movie I would recommend it. This polish is inspired by the cutest cartoon dog, Doug, who says this line in the movie. This polish is described as a pink jelly polish with gold holographic glitter, pink glitter, pink hearts, and white hex glitter. Instead of building this polish up to be opaque, I wanted to try something different so I layered one coat over the pink, OPI Suzi's Hungary Again! I also did not use topcoat for the swatches and look at how shiny it is! I really loved the outcome and wore this as a full mani over the weekend. The polish formula was good and spread evenly. My only issue was that the hearts were hard to get out of the bottle. I had to fish for the one shown on my middle finger and I couldn't get any more out. Overall though, I loved this polish and thought the color was stunning.Lynx Lacquer Rainbow Flurries
Next up is Rainbow Flurries from the Alaska's Wildest Collection. I was really thrilled to see an Alaskan inspired collection because Alaska holds a special place in my heart. My hubby and I went to Alaska on our honeymoon, not a typical honeymoon place I know, and it was one of the coolest trips I have ever been on. We went all out and went kayaking, took a helicopter to a glacier and did dogsledding, and went on a whale watching tour where the whales were so close they swam under the boat. Now onto the polish. This polish is described as a white matte textured polish with a mixture of rainbow glitters. I used two thicker coats to create the opaque look below. I liked the look of this polish because it didn't have the typical glitters that textured polish does. This polish reminded me of a jawbreaker actually :) As a bonus, it dried really quickly for a textured polish.
Lynx Lacquer Admiring Aurora
Last up is Admiring Aurora. This polish is a very unique beauty! The polish is described as a diamond black shimmer polish with rainbow glitters and is also part of the Alaska's Wildest Collection. This polish is a stunner and has so much depth to it. I used three thin coats with no topcoat to create the look below. One of my dreams is to get to see the aurora borealis so the name is awesome to me :)Lynx Lacquer is available here for $7.99 for a 10ml bottle in these colors and $5.25 for a mini 5ml bottle. Overall I thought this was a great indie brand with all three being really good polishes.
*These products were received for review in exchange for my honest opinion.
