A Vacation's Worth of Manis: Marco Island, FL

Hi everyone, welcome to Thursday.  I am insanely busy with work today so I'm going to let the pictures do the talking.  I recently went to Florida and decided to document all the manis that I wore during the trip.  I knew that any one mani wouldn't last because of the sand, sunscreen, and salt water, so I changed it up every night.

Mani 1:

I wore this mani on the Friday that I headed up to Chicago.  I also spent three hours in the car crying on the drive up because of how stressful my job is.  Fun times!  OPI Lost on Lombard with a diagonal of OPI Metallic 4 Life.

Mani 2:

This is was the day that we traveled.  We had to get up at 3:15am to head to the airport, got to Florida, did some shopping, and relaxed at the beach.  OPI Atomic Orange, nude dots in OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons, accent nail in Spellbound Nails Fall 'n Leaves.

Mani 3:

Beach day!  We spent a beautiful day on the beach.  I basically looked for shells for hours, but that is my favorite thing to do at the beach.  OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons with a freehand stripe of OPI The World is Not Enough.

Mani 4:

A nice simple mani of OPI Can't Find my Czechbook.  I want to say that we went to Naples this day and walked around the shops but I can't remember.  The first shot is the view from our hotel balcony.

Mani 5:

OPI Can't Find My Czechbook with a freehanded chevron tip in OPI The Spy Who Loved Me.  We went on jetskis this day.  It was my very first time on one and I thought it was awesome.  We toured some islands and saw dolphins.

Mani 6:

It got very cold and windy towards the end of the trip.  We spent the day at the pool, which you can see in the background, just beyond that is the beach.  OPI Bright Light, Big Color.

We also went to watch the sunset off the pier in Naples.  It was so windy and we were freezing.  It was pretty though.

Mani 7:

This was what I wore on Thanksgiving....OPI Bright Lights, Big Color with a reverse glitter gradient in Spellbound Nails Fall 'n Leaves.  We had a great Thanksgiving dinner at the hotel and spent the entire day on the beach.  It was fantastic.

I do get asked a lot how I can change my nails every day.  For me, it's a stress reducer and that's why I do it.  I do it to wind down at night and try to forget about the stress at work :)  How do you relax?
