Hi everyone and welcome to Hump Day. Hopefully the week has been treating you well! Today I have the nails I created for Shark Week. I was never into shark week as a kid but as an adult I really enjoy it, although this year hasn't really impressed me that much. If anyone has been following, they started shark week with a "mockumentary" about a shark called Megaladon. I will admit that I thought it was a real documentary because they had interviews and footage like a regular documentary would have. Turns out the entire thing was fake and they hired actors to play the parts of the people being interviewed. I didn't realize it until my husband told me and then I got mad and turned it off. Not a good start to shark week! Last night was the first night I enjoyed so we will see what the rest of the week brings.
Just in case you need help figuring out my designs (I hope not), they are an S and W for Shark Week, a hammerhead shark on my thumb, a shark coming out of the water with its mouth open on my middle, and a shark fin in some bloody water on my pinkie.
Colors used were Essie In the Cab-ana for the blue background, China Glaze Elephant Walk, Essie Licorice, Zoya Livingston, China Glaze Exotic Encounters (fitting right?), and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.
Overall I quite like the final result. I'm not the best at drawing realistic things with nail art but I think it turned out well. So...do you like Shark Week?
