Hi everyone, welcome to Monday. Today I have the entire Couture de Minnie collection from OPI to show you. I previously showed two of these polishes around the fourth of July, but recently won a giveaway where I received a mini set of these beauties so I wanted to show the collection as a whole.
This collection includes two shimmers, one cream, one glitter topcoat, and one Liquid Sand. Below I have all of the polishes and will go into detail about each of them below.
Pointer: A Definite Moust-Have--I really love this polish, I wish I had originally gotten a full size bottle of it instead of picking up the deep red in a full sized bottle. This polish is a very pink leaning red and has a beautiful formula. I used two easy coats with no topcoat. In the bottle, there is a very faint amount of shimmer but it doesn't translate to the nail.
Middle: Chic From Ears To Tail--This polish is a light pink cream. The formula was pretty bad on this one though. I used three careful coats to get a smooth finish and this polish did not self level for me.
Ring: Magazine Cover Mouse--This polish is obviously the liquid sand of the collection and even though I'm not a red lover, it ended up wowing me. I actually have it on as a full mani today. This polish is a textured red with gold and red shimmer. It reminded me of a juicy ripe strawberry. The formula was great on this one, it was very opaque in one coat but I used two for my swatches.
Pinky: Innie Minnie Mightie Bow--This polish is a medium red with visible shimmer. The formula was great on this one, two easy coats. I did wear this one in a fourth of July mani and it stained my nails pretty badly.
Minnie Style: Last up is the glitter of the collection, Minnie Style. This polish is a mix of red, pink, and white hex glitter in a clear base. Photos show one coat with no topcoat. I really liked this polish and hope OPI comes out with more glitter topcoats in the future. My only concern with this polish was that there was a decent amount of clear base to glitter ratio so I got a lot of clear polish on when trying to get the glitters out.
Which are your favorites from this collection? Did you pick any of these up?
