Yellow Half Moon Sponge Nail Art Tutorial

Hello Folks, today I thought to take the sponge nail art technique to the next level of the gradient. Previously, we used this nail art technique to create basic gradient nail art design and background for beautiful sponge nail art tutorial. So, today I planned to create half moon DIY nail art design with sponge technique.

Let us start the tutorial. I hope you will enjoy it.

Things Requires:

It is always suggested to collect all required things for nail art at a place for ease in work.

1. Nail polish colors: yellow, orange.
2. Top coat (preferably fast drying). 
3. Rhinestones
4. Nail Art pen: black and silver.
5. Some circular stickers

Steps for Nail Art: 

First of all clean your nails and remove old nail polish with remover. An easy tip to keep your nails strong and healthy is to use olive oil and massage your nails whenever you change nail polish.

Step 1: Now, apply yellow nail polish for the base of your sponge nail art. I would like to recommend you to apply two coats for fine base of your nail art. Let it dry completely. You can use nail polish dryer for quick work.

Step 2: Once your base is dried, now paste a circular sticker on your nails as shown in the picture. You can cut paper tape into circular shape or buy stickers from any stationary. Do paste sticker on your hand 2-3 times to reduce its stickiness. Otherwise, it will lift off your nail polish when you will remove it.

Step 3: Next step is to take a plastic sheet or surface and apply some orange and yellow nail polish on it as shown in the picture. Now, mix it with toothpick and take the impression on a sponge piece.

Step 4: Apply the sponge on your nail as shown in the picture. Repeat it if required. Let it dry.

Step 5: Now, remove circular stickers from your nails and apply top coat and your yellow half moon sponge nail art is ready.
 

Additions:

You can make some additions to your DIY sponge nail art. I have added a black bow on the third finger nail. Do some practice before trying it on your nail for fine and clean work. You can use black nail art pen for ease in your work.

You can also add some rhinestones on your nails for a chic look.

Silver And Green Striping Tape Nail Art With Floral Print

This striping tape nail art tutorial is perfect to give a cool look to simple looking nail art. You can create sharp, straight and clean lines with this tutorial. It is a beginner level nail art and any one can create it without practice.

Things required:

For this nail art, you have to collect few important things required:

• Nail Polish Colors: Dark Green and Silver.
• Top Coat (fast drying preferable).
• Striping tape. (I have brought from eBay India)
• A piece of sponge.

Steps for Nail Art:

Before starting, you need to make some preparation as follows:

• Cut 20 small strips of striping tape. These stripes must be a little bit longer than your nails.

First of all, clean your nails with the remover if there is any old nail polish applied.

Step 1: Now, apply silver nail paint. I would suggest you to apply two coats of this nail paint to give a finishing effect to your nail art base. Let your nail paint base dry completely so that you can get best result.

Step 2: Now, apply pieces of striping tapes on your nails as shown in the picture. Try to keep the distance between two stripes equivalent to give a professional look.

Step 3: We will use sponge nail art technique for this step. You can simply apply nail polish with brush but I prefer sponge effect mainly because it dries quickly and we don't need to wait before proceeding with next step.

Step 4: Now, remove striping tape carefully from your nails. Do not hurry and try to remove striping tapes before nail paint dries. It will spoil all of your efforts. So, let it dry.










Step 5: Finally, apply top coat to lock your nail art and make it long lasting. It will also enhance the look of your nail art by giving a shiny look and professional touch.





















Some Additions:

As you can see, I have created floral print on thumb and third finger nail to give a unique touch. You can also add rhinestones in the middle of flowers to give a jewel look.

Yellow Black Polka Dots with Striping Tape Nail Art

One of the most common current fashion trend is nail art. You can easily create DIY nail art, provided if you are creative and have keen interest in it. Today's fashion involves ornaments, exotic apparels as well as mesmerizing nail decors.

During ancient times, bees wax, gelatin, juices from trees and gum Arabic were used to color nails. but these days, there is a long list of options available with style and perfection. Lets start first with cleaning and nourishing your nails with olive oil. Then, apply base coat for better look.

Now, I used yellow nail polish for base of my nail art. It is a bright yellow color. I always prefer bright colors for base of my nail art. They give a mesmerizing look to my nail art. Your nail art base must be completely dry. You can use ice-cold water for quick drying your nail polish. Just put your fingers in ice-cold water for few seconds and your nail polish will be hard dry.

Next step is to use a nail art dotting tool for the polka dots on your nails. I bought them from eBay India. If you are not a resident in India then you can get the best deal on ebay.com. I have used black nail polish for polka dots. You can use any other nail polish color for it that goes with your outfit.

Don't worry if your polka dots are not perfect. Perfection takes time and whatever you wear, is a fashion. Let your nail polish dry.


Now, take some striping tape and apply on your third nail in horizontal direction and keep the difference unequal. Have a look.

Now, apply black nail polish on your third finger carefully. I do prefer thin nail polish for striping nail art because they give better result. It must look like this:

Let your black nail polish completely dry. Otherwise the result will not be as good as we expect. Once your nail polish is dried then remove striping tapes carefully from your third nail. The result will be amazing like:

Once you are done with it, then apply top coat to give lustrous finish to your nail art. It will add-on a shine and perfection to your nails.

Easy Tips For Check With Gradient Nail Art

Most of the girls admire beautiful nail art but they afraid to try them by themselves. They think nail art is difficult to try yourself. Believe me, you can easily make funky nail art design by yourself.

Lets start with this nail art tutorial.

Keep a bowl of ice-cold water aside you whenever you apply nail polish and dip your fingers in it after every coat of nail polish. It helps in drying nail polish quickly.

Now, cut a small piece of striping tape and stick it to your nail in diagonal direction.

Then, take two nail polish colors, one lighter and other dark. I have selected pink tone, as it is said pink is girlish color. Apply a coat of light pink upper side and dark pink lower side. Let it dry by keeping your finger in ice-cold water bowl. In few seconds, your nail polish will be dry.

Now, remove striping tape from your nail carefully,

In this tutorial, we will make a contrast with different nail art design on third finger nail. Apply white nail polish for base as usual. Let it dry and make a diagonal check with striping tape.

In the previous tutorial, we had learned how to give sponge effect for gradient look. Here, we will follow the similar technique. Put two-three drops of both light and dark pink nail polish colors on plastic surface. take a sponge and give impression on your third finger nail. let your nail polish dry and then remove striping tape carefully. In the last image, you can see the diagonal check design. With this sponge effect, you can easily give clean and clear impression.

Now, Make some easy design on rest of the fingers. I have made some flower-like pattern in the corners.

You can use tooth pick to make this design. I have used black nail art pen for this deign. After this, apply top coat for finalizing your nail art design. It will lock your nail polish and make it long tasting. It will also add a shine to your nail art.

You can also use crystals or rhinestones to enhance the look of your nails. I have used small pink rounded rhinestones.

Beautiful Sponge Effect Nail Art Tutorial

I always love to try new things, especially with nail art. I like professional nail art. They are just awesome but at the same time I always want to try them on my own. In this tutorial, I am going to share an easy sponge effect nail art and combining it with some more things.

Sponge effect is a wonderful technique to combine different colors together and give a gorgeous looking nail art effect.

A quick tip:- Always prefer to apply base coat before applying nail polish to your nails.

Now, we have to apply a dark color as base for this nail art. I have used dark green color. Let it dry, then take light green and white color nail polish and mix them on a flat plastic surface. Take a sponge and give nail light green nail polish impression on your nails. Let it dry.

Now, cover the tip of your nail with black nail polish. You can give this shape easily with nail polish brush. Then, take a nail polish pen and draw some lines to give a look of coconut tree.


You can try different color combinations for this nail art. Have a look to this image:

In this nail art, I have used combination of dark blue, light blue and white nail polish colors. It is giving a look of coconut tree at the sea-sore with blue sky. isn't it?
