Essie Summer 2013 Collection

Essie Summer 2013 Collection plus simple stamping!

It's been a rough week so far so it's going to be a short one for me today.  Today I have my picks from the Essie 2013 Summer Collection.  I was really excited for this collection and I really wasn't disappointed.  I chose the blue from the collection, In the Cab-ana and the green from the collection, First Timer.  My favorite polishes to wear are blue and green so I couldn't resist.  I really liked the purple from the collection but I restrained myself...for now.

First up is First Timer.  A really pretty medium green, but it also has some neon qualities about it.  If you are familiar with Essie Mint Candy Apple and Essie Mojito Madness, this would be the exact middle between the two.  This green just screams summer and I'm wearing it right now.  The formula was good, a tad on the thick side but nothing unmanageable.  I used two coats with no base or top coat.  It look a little bit longer to dry but I always use thicker coats than I know I should.

In the Cab-ana is a medium Caribbean blue that just glows.  I used two coats for the photos with no base or top coat.  The formula was the same as First Timer.  I really loved the color of this one as well.

And now for some simple stamping...I used two coats of First Timer, stamped stars with Essie No Place Like Chrome, and finished with Seche Vite topcoat.

Will you be picking up any colors from this collection?
